Job Description

Finclock LLC is seeking an experienced ICT Manager to lead our technology infrastructure and digital transformation initiatives in Kenya. As a growing fintech company, we require a strategic technology leader who can drive innovation while ensuring robust, secure, and scalable IT operations that support our business objectives. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our information and communication technology systems, managing IT teams, and implementing cutting-edge solutions that enhance operational efficiency. You will play a crucial role in shaping our technology roadmap while ensuring compliance with industry regulations and maintaining the highest standards of data security and system reliability.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive ICT strategies aligned with business objectives and growth plans • Manage and lead the IT department, including hiring, training, and performance management of technical staff • Oversee network infrastructure, server management, cloud services, and cybersecurity protocols • Ensure system reliability, data backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify technology needs and implement innovative solutions • Manage ICT budgets, vendor relationships, and technology procurement processes • Establish and maintain IT policies, procedures, and compliance standards • Monitor emerging technologies and recommend strategic technology investments

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; Master's degree preferred • Minimum 5 years of experience in IT management roles, preferably in financial services or fintech • Strong knowledge of network infrastructure, cloud computing (AWS, Azure), and cybersecurity frameworks • Experience with financial technology systems, payment processing, and regulatory compliance requirements • Proven leadership skills with experience managing technical teams and complex IT projects • Professional certifications such as CISSP, PMP, ITIL, or cloud certifications are highly desirable • Excellent communication skills in English and Swahili, with ability to translate technical concepts to business stakeholders
